From I-64 take exit 35 at Shelbyville KY. Turn Right and proceed North on 55, Cross State Route 60 at a Traffic Light, continue North to Eminence about 11 miles. Pass thru Eminence (a traffic light and 1 blinker) to New Castle (about 4 miles) the county seat. Still on 55 go thru traffic light and go about a couple of miles to State Road 193 (only turns right) Go about 7 or 8 miles to the town of Port Royal. There is a large cemetery at the Baptist Church just as you come in to town. Be sure to stop at the new Henry County Historical Society History Center. It is one block South of the traffic light in New Castle on your left. Someone is there from 10-12 Mon, Tues, Weds, and Fri. to help with your research. My day is Friday.
