There is no entry for Alonzo Stivers in the Henry County Cemetery Book. My wife is a Stivers from Henry County, so therefore this story is of special interest to me. I did find an entry for Pearce Stivers in the Henry County Cemetery Book. His tombstone shows: dob 1893; dod 1968. On the same stone appears: Cyrene M. Stivers dob 1904; dod 0000. They are buried in the Eminence Cemetery.
