Tommy Troxell Cravens (you'll meet at the Troxell reunion) told me that she had heard you were in bad health. I graduated from college 2 years ago. Since then I've had a lot more time to go back to my old hobby, ancestry hunting. I read you article in the new Henry Co. Ky history. The Rice-Downey thing George Troxell son Edwin T. (Tom) Troxell married Sarah Jane Adams her father was David Adams, Sarah Jane Adams mother was, (still not different) was probably Sarah Downey. If correct her father was Thomas Downey and Thomas Downey married a Rice (don't have her name off the top of my head. If so this would confirm another old family tale Tom Troxell and his first wife were cousins. In the last two years I have come up with another source for Nancy Troxell maiden name. The Duell-Clark funeral home records in Woodford Co. Ky. Elizabeth Troxell Adams death certificate has Nancy Hammonds as her mother. George Troxell orgin, still a big mystery???? Do you have Leonard Bonner in the 1880 census. If not let me know. Henry and Sarah(Susie Mary) are still at home. The place they put John Troxell(George son) place of birth is real interesting. George Troxell put VA 1850 census and then put MD on the 1860 census. Garret Troxell put Md for George's place of birth three times on census, Polly Troxell Clark put MD on the 1880 census. PS I now live in Maryland, I didn't plan it that way, got luck I reckon. Paul A. Troxell
