    3. Hi Lists: This won't sound like a plea from someone with 30 years of genealogical research, but I'm pleading for help from someone in these areas. I've got many DUNCAN family records, starting in Culpeper Co., VA in 1723, of the family migrating to Gallatin, Henry Counties. All of the records have given JAMES DUNCAN'S DATE OF DEATH IN GALLATIN CO., KY. I've gone through all of the Census records from 1810 up to 1840 in those counties, as well as Oldham Co., Clark, Pendleton, & about all Counties surrounding these primary areas. I do believe he and his son, James, Jr. are listed on the 1810 Tax List. Another James DUNCAN moved into the area later. I've gone through all the Will's and Administrations, Court Records, about everything that is available for those records on microfilm, and I can not find this JAMES DUNCAN, or his wife, SENA (Asenath Browning Duncan). I have found where SENA was a grantor of some land to her son in law, Captain Jack Prior in 1834. I've read that in some Court houses, there are packets of info on many of the early settlers of that area that weren't microfilmed. I wondered if that might be the case with my James Duncan. I would sure appreciate knowing if something might be available in the Court House that would be of help to me. His son's, James, William, Reuben and Willis and his daughter, Sallie married to Capt. Jack Prior are all shown in Gallatin Co. in 1820 on the Census'. I would sure appreciate any help that I could get on this particular GGGG Grandfather. Thank you for any help I might get, GEORGIA D.
