Have not been able to find where James was from. He and his wife Elizabeth Williams were dead by 1846 which is when their dau. Susan was in court under the sponsership of James Wright. Her siblings were Forrest, Willet and juliann. I would love to know if James had brothers-I believe there were other Eldridges there at the same time. Rumor has three brothers, but don't know. Possibly Thomas was the father?
