I am interested in the name Legin? George Leigan (spelled Legan, Liggin, etc) seems to have been married to an Emily Tiller, in Henry County about 1837. In an online genealogy I found a marraige of George Legan to Emily Lillie in 1837, the same George later married Rebecca Hunley (I know this is my family), but judging from the death cert of George's son Ben Franklin Leigan/Legan, I believe the name was actually Emily Tiller. Also of interest, as I just received probate records which showed the heirs of George Leigan, one being a Lucy Tiller, of New Castle Kentucky. (This was in 1892.) I searched the 1900 census for Henry County and came upon a George Tiller with wife Lucy, who well could have fit into the age and time period. I then found on LDS a marriage of a George Tiller to Lucy Logan in Henry County in 1856, name spelling so close, I think a good possibility it was Lucy Legan. Would love to hear from you.! Pat
