Pleasureville on Hillspring Road (now known as Old Academy Farm). There was a reorganization of the schools in 1893 when it became known as Pleasureville Academy. In 1900 Professor Lee Kirkpatrick organized a private school in the old brick Methodist Church in N. Pleasureville and later took over the Pleasureville Academ, a school that was widely known and well attended." Hope this helps.
