August 9, 1775, in Culpeper County, VA. and died in Henry County, KY October 7, 1844. It appears that he had 3 wives 1. Mrs. William Hill 2. Elizabeth _____, 3. Isabel Parsons. b. May 25, 1779, in Culpeper, VA and died April 16, 1881, in Henry County, KY. William & Isabel Parsons were married 1797 in Culpeper, VA and had 9 children the first 5 where born in Culpeper County, VA. and the last 4 where born in Henry County, KY 1. George Parsons Hill 2. Armstead Lily Hill 3. John W. Hill 4. Russell Wood Hill 5. Patrick Henry Hill 6. William Daniel Brown Hill 7. My ggg grandfather Robert Jason Hill 8. Jessie Powell Hill 9. Thomas Henry Humphrey Hill. I am also researching W. H. Hill married to Nancy J. Smith. They were the parents of George (GW) Hill. GW was born April 8, 1848, in Owen County, KY and died February 18, 1918, in Owen County, KY. married Bettie Hayden October 30, 1877. GW was a Widower of 8 children and the Pastor of Stamping Ground Baptist Church. GW. Hill and Bettie Hayden's children were 1. Anna Hill 2. Harry Hill 3. Mary Hill 4. Stella Hill 5. George W. Hill, JR. 6. John Leonard Hill known as John L. Hill, Dean of Georgetown College 7. Clara Hill 8. Rachel Hill 9. Thomas Russell Hill known as T. Russ Hill, graduated from Georgetown College at the age of 19 and became the High School Principle and Football coach of Jellico Schools at the age of 21 became the Superintendent of Schools Jellico, Tenn.
