Thomas married Elizabeth STIVERS on 10 May 1838 in Henry County, Kentucky.. Elizabeth was born in Kentucky on 04 May 1820, and died 26 Jan 1859 in Howard County Missouri. Children (could have been born in Kentucky and/or Howard County, Missouri): 1. Mary A. Watkins (b. 22 Mar 1839, d. ?). Married Richard R. Tudor on 07 Apr 1859. 2. Martha J. Watkins (b. 23 Sep 1840, d. ?). Married Joseph S. Stevens on 24 Feb 1863. 3. John C. Watkins (b. 10 Sep 1842, d. ?). Married Martha (Mary) Thurman on 13 Nov 1861. 4. Elizabeth C. Watkins (b. 18 Jan 1844, d. 26 Jan 1859). Married John Whitlock. 5. William W. Watkins (b. 29 Nov 1845, d. 26 Jan 1859). 6. Laura A. Watkins (b. 26 Dec 1848, d. 25 Sep 1916). Married Samuel J.     3. I am not sure if this is of interest, but there is a Watkins cemetery on the farm my father used to own. It is on Jackson Road in Henry Co., KY. I am not sure who is buried there, but the cemetery might be of interest.
