Genealogy Workshops October 24 at 2:00 p.m. Using Land Grants and Tax Lists for Studying Genealogy Join Kandie Adkinson of the Secretary of State's Office for a session on "Use of Land Grants and Tax Lists for Studying Genealogy." Adkinson will teach participants how to search for their ancestors using the Secretary of State's web site, which contains scanned images of Kentucky land grants. The workshop will be held in the Brown-Forman Room of the Kentucky History Center, sponsored by the Kentucky Historical Society's Thomas D.
