Anyone with any info on this Samuel and Lucy or Lewis?

They were my Mother's grandfather and grandmother. I have a lot of information on the Sutherland's but none on the Goodrum. My sister has borrowed my files and I will check to see if she is finished with it. Then I can tell you who Warren's father is. I know that William W and James are both in the line somewhere. My grandmother Georgia A. Sutherland West, father was Warren and Step-mother was Lou Goodrum. Lou had a sister by the name of Charlotte. I was told that she was my grandmothers real mother and that Lou raised my grandmother. This part I am not sure because I can not find anything on Charlotte. I do know that Warren and Lou Goodrum Sutherland are my greatparents. Who is your parents and grandparents? thanks Jeanne

I thought you might like to know that an article about the Goodrum family (including a picture of the whole family) was submitted by Marguerite Miller and published in the Sept. 2000 issue of the Henry County Historical Society Quarterly. Back issues are available from the Henry county Historical Society, P.O.Box 570, New Castle, KY. 40050 Also I found the following info in my Henry County Kentucky records: SUTHERLAND, Margaret Lucinda - died 24 Mar 1937, near Campbellsburg; father: T. J. Goodrum, born:TN; mother: Rachel Hilton, born:TN; Charge: Warren Sutherland; Buried: Campbellsburg. source: McCarty Ricketts Funeral Home Records; Warren is not listed. The Henry County Cemetery book lists Warren: 1868-1942 The KY Vital Statistics lists his death as 27 Nov 1942 Vol#056 Cert#27989 If you haven't already, you might check the Henry County Local for an obit.

"Will" or James William Aldridge, Jr.'s parents were James William Aldridge, Sr., m.Margaret Troxell. And supposedly, John B. Aldridge m. Rachael Rice are James William Aldridge, Sr.'s parents. Then, I find there was an older Thomas Aldirdge in Henry Co., KY, but him and probablyhis brother James Aldridge are too old to be the parents of John B. Aldridge.

Fallis' father was James William, and his father was William. In the census William's wife is named Margaret. Wasn't William married to Margaret Troxall, and James William married to Frances Bennett? I'm not documented yet, so I'm not sure. I'll keep working on it.

I've never bothered to check this out but it probably right. The Susan Aldridge that married Robert Blackabry was supposed to be a sister to William Aldridge. Rebecca Troxell married there son John Blackabry Jeannie Walker should know who the Maranda Aldridge that married Henry Troxell parents were. In either the 1910 or 1920 Nelson county census there was a Isham Aldridge living with Henry Troxell. Paul A. Troxell
