I lived at Lowey Air Force base. I left before the snow fell. Back to our ancestery , Richard R. (Rice) Blackaby married Elizabeth Aldridge 9-18-1881 this would be my GGfather/mother. My Gfather was also Richard R. Blackaby married to Drussilla Chishlom on 7-4-1922. I have found ref. to John William Blackaby b. 6-1837/Rebecca "Becca" Sadawhite b.3-1843 from the Harpers Ferry Census, Henry Co. KY. also died at Livermore, Mclean Co. IND. Richard was just married once. Now there are alot of Richard's as you can see, some I have names and dates on,but don't have a straight line on yet. I live approximately 25 miles from areas in which they settled and about 10 miles archives in Frankfort, KY. So as time provides I'll be checking on my line. Rick

My book is WE BOAST OF THE NAME OF BLACKERBY, BLACKABY, BLACKORBY. Best of all, I have a photo of the father of Silas and a photo of the grandparents of Silas. The photo of his grandparents is really awesome as a professional photographer did the reproduction work. The photo of his father has some damage to it, but actually I think that just gives the photo character. They men seem to have dark eyes and dark hair. I did not know that Silas had ever lived in Illinois.
