He was married twice but not to a Native American. I have records of ten children, but none with that name. However he did have a grandson, also named Joshua by his son John, and the only records I have of him show he was born circa 1843 with no death date and no record of marriage. I'ts possible that that is your Joshua and my records of the Wallace's shifted to the Aldridge family whom Joshua's granddaughter Leuticia Jane married into. Sorry, I couldn't help, but any more questions are welcome.
Today I found a marriage record of a John Warfield and Liddy Gordain in Henry Co., KY 28th Aug 1815. Does anyone on this list know who this John Warfield is? Why I ask is I am trying to find a marriage record of the following: John P. Warfield b. btw 1780 and 1800 in KY. Married a Rebecca b. 1802 in KY. Their first child Mary born in Hamilton Co., IL btw 1818 and 1819. If you know of the above John and Liddy I would love to hear from you. Kathleen Burnett

Would anyone know who Eletia Tucker was? She first shows up on the 1820 Henry Co census, so she possibly could be a widow. She is also on the 1830 Henry Co census, next door to a James Tucker; and I can't find her after 1830. She may be the key to one of my big brick walls, so any information would be appreciated. My theory is she could be the mother of either or both Jacob Tucker, b.1808 of Henry and Oldham, and John Wesley Tucker, b.1811 of Henry and Oldham. Still working on those Tuckers of Henry and Oldham Co's :) Roxanne Lake KarmaLake@aol.com
