I've been looking into the past, just where did I come from? I know around the 1815's Henry Co. KY. as far as my direct line. Before that possible, northern KY. along the Ohio River, before that what was then VA. And way back in approximately 1730's from England from Scotland. That would be too cool to chase down. I was reading some other e-mails and you mentioned the Rices in the early 1820's. My G-father middle name was Rice and his father's also the best I can tell. Would know if one of William M. Rice's daughters married a Blackaby? That would be my GGG-father. If you get a chance let me know. Thanks

The Harpers Ferry area along with Lockport, KY. near the Kentucky River, also includes a Clements Bottom with a road being named the same. When I first went to work for Rural Electric in that area the Clement's old home was still being lived in by the Clements.

Many of us in Louisville had ancestors from the surrounding counties as I did--Henry, Scott, and Owen. Tom

I am still trying to find out who his grandfather is on the Penn side. He certainly is an elusive character. Do you know if he has a tombstone at his grave? I wonder if Mary Jane Penn (that married his brother) paid for his burial and tombstone, if one exists. One day I would like to take time off and visit his grave. Thanks PJ for all your help, you are so kind to pass on all this information. I still have never heard from Linda Stoll, wife of Kenneth Stoll, who is the son of Virginia Penn, (daughter of Daniel Penn). I sent a packet of pictures to the University of KY Alumni Assoc.but can't find out if it was ever forwarded to her.
