She married Moses and died in Arkansas while living with a daughter after her husband's death. She was an aunt to Mrs. G.P. Heath and to W.S. Pierce. I also was informed than a Mrs. R. M. Heath was raised in her home. Any information regarding the Heaths or W. S. Pierce (and/or descendents ) or my great grandmother would be appreciated. I would love to know more about her and her family. Please respond with any leads. Thank you!!

But, I never actually had Jonathan's father, I did guess that he prob. d. by 1866. Have you looked at the marriage license? The older John Aldridge m. Rachael Rice in Henry Co., KY is a great possibility, this John had several children.

Johnson. I located them in the 1870 and 1880 census, living in Lockport. I would like to find out who Owen's parents were...I know Owen was born in Kentucky, his father in Georgia, and his mother in Kentucky. Sometime after 1881, the family moved to Oklahoma. Owen and Nancy's children were: John, Albert, Joseph, Martha, William, and Thomas. Owen was born abt 1841, and Nancy abt 1850. I tried the 1860 census for the Lockport area, but no luck there. If someone had access to the index for 1860 and 1850 and could look that up for me, I'd really appreciate it!

My James may have been a grandson of Thomas, son of James, as my gggrandmother's papers in the courthouse said she was under someone else's guardianship in the 1830's. I am going to look at this stuff over the weekend. Dunaway's I believe were in the group of DAR papers we found for the Dunns. This was before Susan Eldridge showed up on the scene. The Dunns were in Pa and Va before coming to Ky. but they all seemed to end up in Henry Co. E-mail me if you like and I will send you what I have about the Eldridges. Then I assumed he was the one that m. Susan Davis on Feb 29, 1808, I don't remember what he showed in the 1820 & 1830 census. Do you know of any of his children's names, any thing about this family? Do you know where he is buried? There is an old Thomas Aldridge Ceme. ca. Lockport. Thomas seemed to have had several children, he is still with a wife when he passed away ca. 1827 (tax list), I can't find anything with his his wife's name on it, to prove who they are. But, she was living with their gr.son in 1830. I think Thomas had a brother John in Garrard Co., Jousua (my family spoke of the deaths of 3 brothers that died from the chloria, and there was two in Garrard Co., KY. It was in one of these counties is where I also found Susannnah, Thomas's sister, whom m. a Dunn or Dunaway (forget which). But, I think they are the Aldridge's out of the Thomas & Elizabeth Purdy lines in Anne Arundel Co., MD.

John Aldridge was b. ca. 1796 in MD, I think his father, Thomas was from Anne Arundel Co.,MD. You may try Montogomery Co., MD also. It appears old gr. father Thomas Aldridge had a brother James in the 1810 Henry Co., KY census. I believe the Dunaways, Dunns are also tied in with the Aldridge/Eldridge/Oldridge lines by marriage.
