Douglas...who too, was killed in a train accident with another family. Walter W. Douglas was the son of William H. Douglas and Lucinda Batts Douglas of Henry Co. My Dad grew up near Turner's Station and often speaks about it...he will be 90 this May. Email me and maybe I can find out more on the story. But the name ALDRIDGE is in my ancestry. My great, great grandmother was Sallie ALDRIDGE. The only information I have on her is that she was born in Henry County, Kentucky and that she married John CRAWFORD. He was born abt 1820 in Montgomery County, Kentucky and they were married between 1840 and 1841, maybe 12 Feb 1840. Would we have any connection? Thanks for your reply.
