Surnames: Johnson and Bishop Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/4AB.2ACI/498 Message Board Post: Hello. Does anyone have any information on a WIlliam Sanford Johnson son of James David Johnson and Emily Bishop. I know Willaim was born in 1874 in that I have his death certificate. They were from Gratz, Ky and James David married Emily Bishop of Rockcastle, Henry County,Kentucky. I think I found them in the 1880 census, but I can not find William Sanford or his brother Rubin (possibly Ruben) listed and they would have been small children and should of been listed. I really need the family and James David's parents. Thank you very much Jane Newsome

    3. I am seeking further information about Wilhelm Kuppenschmidt or Coppersmith, who is among those buried in the Coppersmith-Thompson Cemetery on Gest Road. http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ky/henry/cemeteries/t5120001.txt Is further genealogy available of him and his first wife? Were they the parents of Mary Kuppenschmid, who married William T. Beckham in Owen County on February 22, 1876, and why is she also listed with a last name that begins with a B (possibly "Baxter,"), when she indicates she the marriage to Beckham was her first marriage? Surnames: SMITH, PULLIAM, BACKUS, WRIGHT, SHERMAN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4AB.2ACI/495 Message Board Post: Today I read the biography of the Hon. Jacob Shrader Smith posted at the Henry County KY web site. In the biography there is mention of his daughter Lillie M. born 1865. I am interested in knowing if this could possibly be my great grandmother. I have a newspaper article circa 1900 which mentions her passing. It states she is from Henry County and was a Baptist. The difference is my great grandmother's middle initial was R for Rose; however, her birth date is also 1865. The Hon. Smith's biography also mentions that he was a Baptist. My great grandfather's name was George Washington Pulliam from Carroll County KY. Does anyone have information on Lillie M. Smith of Henry Co. as mentioned in the biography? Thank you.
