    3. The 1900 census is now working remotely through HeritageQuestOnline.com. So if you are a member of a library who subscribes you can have access at your home computer too. Some of the lists have had a lot of discussion about the Godfrey Library but this service is also available through many other libraries across the country including the Kentucky Historical Society.

It is no longer there. It was torn down and the fire department is there now. To my knowledge there has never been a college of any type in Henry Co., KY. The High School is called Henry County High now and is near New Castle, I think. The Middle School is near Bethlehem on Hwy 22. I don't live in KY any longer so that is why I am unsure of exactly where the High School is now. Middle School I am sure of as my cousin used to teach there. If you are searching for school records they were moved to the Board of Education in New Castle at one time. I am not sure they are still archived there anymore.

    3. I am very interested in Nancy Roberts, mother of Margaret Shaw. Nancy Roberts was living with Henry and Margaret Shaw in 1850 in Henry County. In 1860 there is a Nancy Roberts living with James and Cathleen Laswell Roberts in Rockcastle Co. KY. Does anyone know if these two are the same woman? Going by the ages in both 1850 & 1860, it is a good possibility they are. The Henry County Nancy was married to James Roberts who was deceased by 1850. I am not researching the Shaw family so don't have any other information.
