Netta, Re: Rachel's final resting place--did you know there is a Marrs Typ. in Posey Co? And it seems and people from Henderson Co., KY, easily traveled (and quite often) to Vanderburgh and Posey Counties in IN. They just ferried the Ohio at Henderson and came out between Mt. Vernon (Posey Co, IN) and Evansville, IN (Vanderburgh Co., IN). So it is quite possible that Rachel was ferried to Posey Co to be buried. Good luck in finding Rachel.
