Netta, Many thanks for your very prompt reply. According to the KY web site for Vital Statistics they have death records 1911 and later. I called them to be sure, and they suggested I contact Henderson County. So I tried (unsuccessfully) the County Court Clerk office, who said they didn't have death records for 1878. They suggested I contact the Corner's office. So I called the Corner, got the answering service and left a message requesting they call me back. It's quite a chase. Let me know if you have any more suggestions. regards.
