Anyone know how I can get access to the circuit court records from a distance? The clerks say they are too busy to even send me a copy of the index for my names (Williams and Sandefur). Nina: You need to narrow it down a bit. Williams and Sandefur are very common names in Henderson County, and I would guess that a search of the civil index alone would net you well over 100 lawsuits. If you've got some first names to go with them, and the approximate dates they lived, I'd be willing to take a look for you. Just the civil stuff though; the old criminal cases are mostly there, but they're a nightmare as far as finding anything.
