I have a question about FRANCIS "J" JESSE SIGLER, (Bio. in "Union Co KY History 1886" pg 674) and his wife, LUCY V. SHELTON of Webster Co KY. While checking the cemetery records for, Old Chalybeate Springs Cem, Webster Co KY , I find that four members of this family died within 5 months in 1891. 1st. Henry Beecher Sigler (son) d. 22 Mar 1891 2nd. Francis J. Sigler (father) d. 10 Jul 1891 3rd. Lucy V. w/o F. J. Sigler (wife) d. 20 Jul 1891 4th. Charles P. Sigler (son) d. 16 Aug 1891 It is odd that four grown people of one family would die within such as short time period. Was there some kind of epidemic going around? That many deaths in one family aroused my curiosity. Francis Jesse Sigler was a brother to my gr gr grandfather, David Sigler b. 23 Jan 1825 d. 17 May 1904 bur: Old Chalybeate Springs Cem. Webster Co KY. Dot Lauver
