Looking for any information on Andrew Jackson Estes, who lived in Crofton, KY around Hopkinsville. According to family oral history, he came across the mountains from the Carolinas with his father when he was about 14 years old. His father died on the way across. No one in the family knows who his father was, and I am stopped right there in tracing my family back. Andrew Jackson Estes was born August 24, 1860 and married Fanny Bell Cason, born February 9, 1876. Their children were: Lottie, Reedy, Ruby, Pearl, Archie, Eddy and Mae.
