The cost of death certificates are $6.00 each. I called them and got a fax number from them and by sending the information along with a credit card account# they told me they would have them in the mail within three working days. They kept their word and I had received them here in Texas with 5 days. Kentucky Vital Statistics has a page on the Internet you can even look up by name to see if they have a record of it. It lists the name, date of death, age, volume and page #. http://www.kdla.state.ky.us/arch/vitastat.htm I was able to find quite a number of family records and ones I wasn't sure about. They only have records from 1901 or 1910 to current. Earlier records were usual kept in the county courthouse. Hope this helps, any problems let me know and I will be glad to search that page for you if you would give me the names. I was so excited when I found my great-grandfather's death record as I didn't know for sure when he died. I was really impressed with their service.
