Henderson Gleaner July 1900 Quinine Jim McKenzie Now that his cousin Adlai is a candidate, the friends of "Quinine Jim" McKenzie are hoping that he will come out of hiding in the rural districts of Christian county and mount the stump and let the people once more hear the kind of oratory that has become far too scarce in these latter days.
