Wedding of Interest to Henderson Hopkinsville Kentuckian June 1900 Salter - Stewart Former Hopkinsville Boy and Alabama Lady Marry News was received in the city yesterday of the marriage of Mr. Hiam P. Salter, formerly of this place, and Miss Bessie Stewart, of Florence Ala. The happy event took place at the home of the bride's parents Wednesday evening. Mr. Salter is an exceedingly popular young gentleman and holds a responsible position with the L & N railroad company, with headquarters at Middlesboro, Ky. His bride is said to be a very pretty and high accomplished lady. Miss Carrie Salter, of Henderson, sister of the groom attended the wedding.
