This is a contract between Nimrod Bishop and Thomas Towles concerning the sale of land. Nimrod Bishop this day agrees to sell to Thos. Towles the tract of land on which he lives containing Eight Hundred Acres more or less for the sum of Six Thousand dollars, one thousand to be paid on the first day of March next and twenty Five hundred in the year of 1840 and twenty five hundred in the year 1841. That is to say in one and two years from the day on which said Bishop ______ to the said Towles possession of the premises and Executes his deed to said Towles with __________against all claims and incumbrances.
