My grandmother was Gertrude Naomi Woodring. (b. 1919 in Henderson Co. KY) I am still struggling with my Woodring line. I know that my grandmother was the daughter of Hayden Woodring (1896-1958)and Elsie Marvin Oakley (1897-1980). She was the granddaughter of William Francis Woodring (1870-1/1932) and Nora Ashbridge (1872-1915) William Francis Woodring was the son of Gabriel Woodring (He may be Gabe Abner Woodring) I do know that his death notice in Henderson County says that his father's name was Gabe Woodring and his mother was ? Mayberry. I'm still trying to figure out just exactly who William Francis' father was. If his father was Gabriel Abner Woodring....son of William and Alisha Ragsdale or Eliza Jane Banks then I have my connection to the Wotring and Vautrin lines...... Can you help me? Thanks Starla
