This is a very mobile society. I was raised in Evansville and now live in Arizona. I still have relatives there, tho. All my dead folks are burried in Oak Hill or Peterberg, IN. that I know of. My grandparents may have eloped to Henderson, since my grandmother was only 16 and we can't find a wedding license. Anyone willing to do a lookup? Where else could have a 16 year old gotten married in 1921? They married 12-21-21, William Irvin THARP and Ruth Alora Hillman. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Terri Hauk [mailto:motfot@tdl.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 11, 1999 10:38 PM To: KYHENDER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Evansville>California Such a small world, isn't it? I was born and raised in Evansville, IN, and now reside in CA also! I have lots of roots in Henderson Co., too. My great grandpa was from Henderson Co., buried in Oak Hill in Evansville. It's amazing how much you CAN find on the Internet about places and people of your roots. Just wanted to say 'hi' also!
