Hi List Members... Maybe I should do it this way, my name is Jim Powell Jr. I am the Coordinator of the Henderson County KYGenWeb Site and have been for quite awhile. This Mail list is loosely tied to that site, not the HCH&GS. I do however keep up web pages for the HCH&GS and the General Hopkins Chapter of the DAR. Those Web Sites are also loosely tied to the Henderson County KYGenWeb Page. Now for my "personal" opinions on mail lists. I believe that a friendly list will provide much more help and real involvement than a sterile list. From my experience, complaints made publicly on a list tend to cause more email to delete than than the thread that they are complaining about. So please, if you have a complaint, attach it it to a rock and toss it through one of my open windows. Please don't skip it off of the list on its way here. BTW... During the last day or so we have had about 7 unsubscriptions and a couple of subscriptions. Please remember, if you do unsubscribe, there may be a couple of messages out there looking for you.
