Greetings, I'm trying to track down information on a bit of oral history. My family says there was an old MURPHY school run on the eastern edges of Henderson Co. (read: near Daviess Co). My MURPHY's descend from Ed. Wm. MURPHY who lived in Reed/Stanley, KY. I was told these schools were great for keeping lists like students, their parents and other geneaological tidbits.
