Believe the above John Mattingly remarried to Sarah Hart in Union County, KY on 11 August, 1828. 10 Children born to this marriage (Mary Jane, Julian, John Rowan, Robert Lewis, Lud Churchill, Armstead L., William Thomas, Charles Gipson, Sarah Elizabeth and George Loagan). This John Mattingly died July, 1850. Sarah Hart remarried a James Hall 24 April, 1853 at St Vincents. Believe the above John Mattingly was a son of Jeremiah Mattingly and Sarah Shanks. There is another John Mattingly who married a Nancy Lay June, 1822 in Union County, KY. I have tracked him to Lewis County, Missouri where he died on 29 December, 1873.
