We received the following message today, March 19, 1999, at The Gleaner, the newspaper in Henderson, KY. Perhaps it will be of interest to someone on this list: "I was tearing down an old barn and found a tombstone. It's very small-a baby's and dated 1896.This was in Henderson County and I hope you can help me find out who and where it belongs. It reads:Dau of T.W. and P.P.Piper - Born -Sept.8,1896-Died Nov.26,1896-Darling,we miss thee.Surena is engraved on top of it. If you can help me with any information on what I must do,please contact me. dhogan@dynasty.net Thank you, Daniel Hogan" We will also be pursuing this at the newspaper, so if anyone has any knowledge about this and can help this gentleman I would appreciate knowing about it. Thanks, Donna B. Stinnett Features editor The Gleaner, P.O. Box 4, Henderson, KY 42420 (502) 831-8344
