According to W. A. Gaines Mortuary, Amanda Brooks was buried on April 14th 1933 Her mailing address was RFD #1 Henderson. I have the receipt for her medical, pharmacy and burial expenses. She was the widow of a Union Soldier and recieved a pension from the government. She and Richard Brooks were the parents of 14 children and their decendents are still in Henderson. I am told that an older relative has a copy of the obit from the Gleaner. My Amanda Arnett Brooks is Afro-American.
