This is the family! Betty West was the daughter of Amanda Brooks. There are lots of Brooks in Mt Zion. Amanda and Richard Sr. had 14 kids. I have the year of birth for all of the children, Jennie Brooks Winters was the eldest born a slave in 1862. Richard born in 1895 was my grandfather.
