I have a database of Duncans from Henderson, Union, & Webster Co., KY and Evansville, IN; all that are descendants and possible descendants of Nathaniel Duncan from Caswell Co., NC who settled in Corydon, Henderson Co., KY in the 1830's. I have three Sylvester Duncan's in my file. 1. Sylvester N. Duncan born abt 1919 son of Nathan Alney and Edna H. [Blank] Duncan. 2. Sylvester Duncan born 01 Jan 1920 and Died 31 Dec 1968; he married Gertie Stone 1941 Union Co., KY. Sylvester was the son of Cornelius D. Duncan and Edna A. Gebhart. They had a son 3. Sylvester who was born 12 Sep 1945 and died 25 Sep 1945. Nathan Alney Duncan, Cornelius D. Duncan, and George Washington Duncan are all sons of Marion D. Duncan who was the nephew of my great-great grandmother, Sarah Francis [Duncan] Morehead. Jenny, are one of the two Sylvester's your sister's husband?
