If any one is actively researching or interested in, Tilley families, I would like to correspond with them. There were two families of Tilleys originally in Union County, both from Orange County NC. I am trying to determine if they were related, and what the relationship was, I feel they were related! My branch was John Washington Tilley, married Annis Veatch, daughter of Benjamin Veatch. John and Annis had four children, none of who stayed in Union County. Annis died young, and John not much later. At one time John had a brother in Union County, Eddie F, who also married while there, but, I don't know what happened to him. The other Tilley family was also a John Tilley, wife was Mary Jane Dunnegan, both from Orange County NC. They had several children, I think many of them remained in Union County, and perhaps some ancestors are still there. Can anyone do any look ups in cemeteries in Union County?
