RUFUS SELLARS, County Farmer Kills Self: Found dead with two bullet holes through head by two deputies: Rufus SELARS, 59, well known farmer residing in Lover's Lane, was found with a bullet hole through his right temple and a .32 caliber revolver at his side yesterday morning by Sheriff J. T. Reed and Frank Busby, who called to see him concerning the court sale property scheduled for sale yesterday afternoon. A jury empanelled by Corner C. A. Crowley returned a verdict of suicide. After the deputes at the farm; they started toward a tenant house; occupied by William Beverly, colored, when they were unable to arouse Mr. SELLARS. They met Beverly en route however, and the three returned to Mr. Sellers' house. They found a note reading "I am dead," on the kitchen door and exploring the house, they found the body in another room. At the inquest, held at the Rudy Rowland-Moss undertaking establishment the officers and Beverly told their stories. Mr. SELLARS was in bed covered to the armpits, they said, and the pistol lay near the right side of his head, where the bullet entered. Beverly, said Mr. Sellers has been acting queerly the past several days, coming in late and sleeping well into the day and frequently mumbling to himself. Mr. SELLARS was almost asphyxiated by exhaust of a gasoline engine on the farm about two years ago. He recovered after a lingering near death for several days the occurrence was sup-posed to have been an accident. He was the son of the late Elijah SELLARS, once one of the largest farm owner in the County. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Mayme SELLARS of St Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. W.W. Mitcherson, of Cincinnati and Mrs. A. J. MELTON, of the Cario section and three brothers, Ishom SELLARS, of Robards, and R. H. and E. A. SELLARS, who lived and owned part of the farm formally owned by their father. Funeral services will be held at the Ruby Rowland and Moss Chapel. The burial will be held in Fernwood Cemetery Tuesday.
