    3. Dot, I can't resist, I've got to ask. Do you know who you're father, KESTNER LEE PURYEAR, might have been named after. KESTNER was the spelling of my line, before my grandfather changed the spelling to KISTNER. My line settled into the Christian Co. Ky area in the mid 1800's and many are still there to this day. Two of my grandfather's sisters married WALKERS in Christian Co also. My other direct line in that area was WHITE. Would be very interested in any information you might have on your Dad's name.
