    3. My family lives in Union Co. The route described by Carol below is the best way. The toll roads and parkways take you farther south of Henderson and you have to spend time coming north. From Louisville, you can get to Henderson in about 2 to 2.5 hours. So add the time from Louisville to Lexington and you've got it.
