    3. There was a DANIEL FEAGAN who moved west right after the Revolution with his wife, VIOLET COMBS FEAGAN, and their NINETEEN CHILDREN!!! They met Simon Kenton, the famed Indian fighter, on the waterway trip upon a barge. He advised Daniel that there was Indian trouble up ahead. Daniel and his huge party (which included spouses of his older children and grandchildren) got off at Kenton Station, Kentucky, where they remained for several years. Later, Daniel lost his land there through "mischance" (whatever that meant) and moved to Brown County, Ohio. He applied for a pension - and was turned down. However, his children kept applying (:-) and left a wonderful record of Daniel behind. Violet lived to be 100 - so the file is huge. With 19 children - the middle name of Fagan might be from this family. It might be worth your while to look at this group.
