Mortis' either my great Uncle Harry or Great Uncle Bill Mortis may have been your great grandfather? What was your grandfather's name on your Mortis side? Harry & Bill Mortis were my grandfather, William Mortis' brothers. I am the middle daughter of R.L. Mortis born in Union Co. Ky. in April 1921 and Blanche Mae Stone, born in Union Co. Ky. May 1919. We lived in Henderson, Ky. Are you the one that contacted me a few years back and thought you were adopted? I am in Fl. right now and do not have access to my files, but will be back home in Va. next week where they are. How old are you? I am 58. Do you know any of the Mortis family in Ky.? All of my daddy's brothers and sisters are dead now, except a sister-in-law Claudie Mortis that was married to Uncle Ernest Mortis. His children all live in Corydon, Ky. Mary, William & Pam.
