One known son, James Gudgell, b. 1833. Elizabeth Butts Gudgell died about 1836 and Joel apparently left Anderson Co., KY about this time with his son and went to Henderson Co., KY. The son, James, later went to Caldwell Co., MO. In 1837 Joel married Elizabeth Brown in Henderson Co., KY. They had one known son also, Daniel Edward Gudgell. Elizabeth Brown Gudgel married a second time in 1844 to John Dorris in Henderson Co., KY. Therefore Joel must have died prior to 1844. When did Joel die and where is he buried? Any help appreciated.
