With the information I have at this time I don't think there is a connection unless William U. or Elijah S. stayed in Henderson CO. after 1870. I think William may have for a time. Calvin is my ggggrandfather and since my my research is with census records, I have only been able to trace him to 1850 in Hart CO, KY. where he has only been married for about 1 1/2 years to Amelia Page. Their only child then was William Henry and he is 9 months old. Between 1850 and 1856 they had two more children in Hart CO., Sarah Payne and Rose Ann. This is also where I find Elijah. He is living with Calvin and Emilly and he is 2 years younger than Calvin. In 1860 I find Calvin and Emily in New Albany, Floyd CO., IN. and no mention of Elijah, but two morw children, Joanna and Joseph. They are twins and by the 1870 census they are no longer mentioned and presumed dead. In the 1870 census, Calvin and Emily are living in Upper Town Pct., Henderson CO., KY. and they ! have another daughter, Ida Belle, born about 1870. I have been able to obtain a lease agreement for a farm on Evansville Bend that Calvin and his brothers rented in 1870. This is where I find Elijah's middle initial and the first time I find William U. I think I have also located some tax records from the library that list a William U. Williams in Henderson as early as 1867 or 8 and in those tax records I can see that William had at least 2 children. In 1872, Calvin has moved the family to Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN. where my gggrandfather is born, Jefferson Davis Williams. Then in the 1880 census, Calvin is back in Hart CO., KY. Sometime around 1890 Calvin and family made their way to ST. Joseph, Buchanan CO., MO. where Calvin died. In the 1900 census, Emily is widowed. Hope this might help. Glen Williams
