I think his father was John Pruitt and his mother Eliza Emily Cox but I can't seem to find anything that links them together. I know most all the Pruitt's after William P Pruitt. But none before. William P had a son named William Thurman who had my father David Lee who had me Thurman Wayne. I am really trying hard to find out who my Pruitt's were and when they came to the U.S. but I sure need some help. Going through all those census reports has my head spinning.
