I am Evelyn Mitchell Smith in Lawton, OK. My gr grandmother, Mary Jane Climer married Joseph W Freeland in Guilford Co, NC in 1845. They were in Carroll Co, TN by 1850. Mary Jane was related to Milton Climer of Madison Co, TN, I am sure. She might have been his sister. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has a connection to the Climers of Guilford Co.
