Is this the same William Riley Powell who married Catherine Turner - she is my 2nd great aunt. I have two children for them - Rueben Adam and Josie Powell. Did they have any other children. I don't have a marriage for Rueben but Josie married Sam Stone. Hi Brenda, William Riley Powell and Catherine Turner were my ggrandparents. And Rueben Adam Powell that md. Winnie Ashley were my grandparents. William Riley and Catherine had another daughter Viola Mae Powell that md. 1st Thomas Edward Stone and 2nd to Harvey Jackson. Thomas Edward Stone was the son of William Riley Powell sister Nancy Powell that md. Alex Stone. I and Jim Powell Jr. and Marilee Morgan have connected these Powells through Court records and DNA records and they are on the Henderson Web site in family pages To Willoughby Powell and Mary Whitehead. I have alot of information on this family and their desendants.
