Dear Ms. Voyles. Thank you for this information and pardon me for taking advantage. Some of my family were buried in the Marshall graveyard which I understand was on the Madisonville(?)Road out of Henderson. Is this cemetery still there? I know my family sold their land in that area in the '50's or '60's to make way for a housing comples.... I have done some research on a Moss who married Sue Tscharner from Henderson Co. Sue would have been born about 1914 (give or take a couple years). There is a John Moss in this family born 1877. This particular Moss family lived in Texas but somehow Albert Lavelle Moss, b 1913 ended up in Henderson Co and married Sue Tscharner. Al was orphaned at an early age so I don't know what drew him to Henderson Co after he got out of the Army. I'm hoping it was someone in the Moss family in Henderson. Sue lived in Baskett, Ky. I don't have much on the Tscharner line though. Anyone who has some info let me know, please. Pam Its up to us who are living to miss the ones who aren't.

According to Gone but not Forgotten revised 1997 Cemeteries of Henderson County KY by James Blue Sublette Cemetery is located on a farm. Sublette Cemetery Jack I. James Farm - stone in cabin. John Hugh Sublette May 14, 1793 - Mar 30, 1862 That is the only name listed in that book You might want to contact the Historical Society in Henderson they might have more info on who owns the land now. Good Luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: cahoca2@msn.com<mailto:cahoca2@msn.com> To: KYHENDER-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:KYHENDER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, November 17, 2006 4:28 PM Subject: [KYHENDER] SUBLETTE CEMETERY This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. There's only ONE listing in the Sublette Cemetery on page 266 in the Gone, But Not Forgotten book by James L. Blue. That listing is for: John Hugh Sublette b) May 14, 1793 and d) Mar 30, 1862. The directions simply state the cemetery is located at Jack Ijames farm and that the stone is in the cabin. I don't find the Sublette Cemetery at our cemetery map we have to offer. Your best bet would be to call the Society's Research Center and talk to Linda or Dorothy regarding this. The Society's Research Library is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 to 5:00 p.m. Netta Mullin, President Henderson Co.
