    1. TWO SISTERS
    2. Jane McBroom
    3. Barney and Murphy Two Aged Sisters Are Called To Rest Two aged sisters, saintly women, whose lives of Christian service, unselfishness and loyalty to duty, have endeared them to friends wherever they have known, have laid down life's burden and are at rest under the shade tree in the heavenly abode. "Aunt Sis" Fuller, the elder, age 84, died on Tuesday, May 10th, at 12:30 o'clock at the home her sister, Mrs. Barney Murphey, on Fall Creek near Mona. On Saturday May 12th, identically the same hour, 12:30, just 24 hours later, Mrs. Murphy answered the call to the celestial home. Mrs. Fuller was a widow and had been an invalid and bedfast for sometime, her infirmities being due to her old age. Mrs. Murphy, beloved wife of Eld. Barney Murphey, a pioneer Christian preacher, was about 78. Her death was due to pneumonia. Besides her bereft husband she also leaves three sons. It seems almost a kind fatality that these aged and saintly sisters, whose years of intimate association and deep attachment, the one for the other, were so tenderly pathetic, should have fallen asleep to awake on the starry chambers of heaven at about the same time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------

    3. If any one is actively researching or interested in, Tilley families, I would like to correspond with them. There were two families of Tilleys originally in Union County, both from Orange County NC. I am trying to determine if they were related, and what the relationship was, I feel they were related! My branch was John Washington Tilley, married Annis Veatch, daughter of Benjamin Veatch. John and Annis had four children, none of who stayed in Union County. Annis died young, and John not much later. At one time John had a brother in Union County, Eddie F, who also married while there, but, I don't know what happened to him. The other Tilley family was also a John Tilley, wife was Mary Jane Dunnegan, both from Orange County NC. They had several children, I think many of them remained in Union County, and perhaps some ancestors are still there. Can anyone do any look ups in cemeteries in Union County? I'd appreciate any feedback and comments. Thanks, Al Lee Researching TILLEY and VEATCH in Union County Ky

RUFUS SELLARS, County Farmer Kills Self: Found dead with two bullet holes through head by two deputies: Rufus SELARS, 59, well known farmer residing in Lover's Lane, was found with a bullet hole through his right temple and a .32 caliber revolver at his side yesterday morning by Sheriff J. 3. Jim, thanks for the address of the EADES Family Association. I will get in touch with them. Ichecked some of my henderson Co., KY books and found a little bit of information. From "Gone But Not Forgotten" - Cemeteries of Henderson Co., KY: Sallie LIVERS, wife of J.B. July 26 1839 - Dec 6 1864 Willie Lee LIVERS, son of J.B. & S. July 18 1864 - Dec 27 1864 Cemetery on 1078, Alves Ferry Rd - Old Sterling Place (This would be James B.'s first wife, Sarah JOHNSON. ) In the 1860 Henderson Co. Census, Ignatious (listed as J.G.) has a wife (probably), Ann, age 47, b. KY Also, James B. LIVERS is living with E.T. HAZELWOOD In the 1880 Census, Adelle LIVERS is listed as a school teacher, no husband, and with son Ben W., age 12. Adelle is born in KY, as were her parents. In case you don't have the marriage info on James: James B. LIVERS and Sarah JOHNSON, m. 18 Jun 1863 - Book 6, page 17. James B. LIVERS and Adelle T. SMITH, m. 25 Oct 1866 - Book 7, page 255. In Henderson Co., KY According to my Emily EADES' death certificate, she was born in Daviess Co., that is where Owensboro is located. So, we must have a connection! Now, if we can just determine what it is. TTYL, Pam
