Hi all - we just got back from a trip to Henderson, and found a new line to search. David Youngs, b. Jan 17, 1810, married Louisa J. Pritchett on December 25, 1835. There was a bio of David in the "History of Union County, KY" p. 608. However, not much on Louisa J. Pritchett. The bio takes us back to David's grandfather, who was a Revolutionary soldier of PA. However, with so many Pritchett's, I don't know who Louisa's parents were. Got stuck there. David re-married a widow, Mrs. Martha Sites, of Scott County, MO November 8, 1849, so I'm assuming Louisa had died by that year. They had three children: Sarah Ann Youngs, m. Allen Hall; Lydia E. Youngs, m. Thomas Clayton, and AMELIA YOUNGS, m. Thomas Watson......she is our continuing line. Also need Thomas Watson's parentage.... Thanks a lot - everyone on this group is great! My grandparents and great grandparents were from there and I am having a difficult time finding anything on them. There are zillions of different spellings on Burshears. Thanks-- he was my grandfather's brother. I went there last summer, but still couldn't find his grave, nor a record of the year he died. .Born in 1830 in Welschbach, Germany, he was living in 1900 Union Co. census-- but not in 1910. His wife, Sophia, died before 1900 but after 1886. Mary Wallace.

Thanks for looking -- They're my grandfather's family. Several of them owned graves there as well as my Voss lines. I visited the beautiful cemetery last year, found all the Voss graves, but couldn't find the Leibenguth ones. There were Minnie, Martha, Charles, Jacob, Christian, Edward, Mary, Sadie, etc. I'd like to make another visit there, but it's 1,000 miles roundtrip-- and that's a lot.If you need an Ohio lookup, let me know, I have no books, but will go to a nearby library for you. You know, when I bought this book it was to get the cemetary listing for my GGGrandparents, they weren't in there, but now I know I spent my money wisely, because so many other people's family are in here Have a good day
